Dr. Studnicki has 13 years of experience at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore where for 10 years he directed the Hopkins program in health finance and management. Dr. Studnicki came to the USF College of Public Health in 1990 and is currently Director of the Center for Health Outcomes Research. Dr. Studnicki has conducted research in cybernetic systems for influencing change in physician behavior, the cost-effectiveness of systems for influencing change in physician behavior, the cost-effectiveness of alternative treatment options, the utilization and quality impacts of managed care, and the health status of populations. His publications have appeared in the most influential scientific and professional journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of the American Medical Association, and the American Journal of Public Health.
